Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin (1826-1889)

The collection is devoted to the 195th anniversary of the Russian satirist, journalist and official. It features digital copies of books, brochures, periodicals, postcards, archival documents and other materials. The collection comprises the first publications by Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin of particular interest, published in the magazines Otechestvennye Zapiski and Vestnik Evropy.

The collection involved materials provided by the Nadezhda Krupskaya Moscow Regional State Scientific Library, the National Library of Russia, the Zonal Scientific Library of the Ural Federal University, the Scientific Library of the St. Petersburg State University, the Children's Postcard Museum and others.
