Museums of Russia: Museum of the royal family was opened in Tobolsk

The family museum of Emperor Nicholas II was opened in Tobolsk (Tyumen region). The museum, exhibits for which has been gathered for many years, is located in the Governor's House, where from August 1917 to April 1918 the imperial family of the Romanovs lived in exile. The collection includes a plaque (medal) from a mammoth bone with the autograph of Tsarevich Nicholas, a family photo album with amateur photographs performed by the royal family in Tobolsk, a silk shawl belonging to the empress, and the Gospel with its stamp and signature.
