The 55th anniversary of space flight of Valentina Tereshkova, the world's first woman-cosmonaut is celebrated on June 16 2018. The legendary “Chaika” (Seagull) performed the orbital flight on the “Vostok-6” spacecraft. For more than 2 days had her call sign sounded from space. To celebrate this memorial historical date the Museum of Cosmonautics (Moscow) has prepared a series of special projects and exhibitions to spotlight the life of this heroic woman.
