26 June 2018

A travelling exhibition «Rarities of the House of Romanov. Summer imperial residence in Peterhof» is opening on June 26 2018 in the Summer Palace in Beijing.

The exhibition in the Summer Palace is closing a grand tour of the Peterhof collection around China. More than one million visitors have attended the exhibition at the museums of Chengdu, Guiyang, Shijiazhuang, and at the "Millennium" Art Museum in Beijing within two years. The Summer Palace, which celebrates 20th anniversary of its inclusion into UNESCO World Heritage List, is a grand palace and park complex in the northwest of Beijing, the summer residence of Chinese emperors of the Qing dynasty. The display of museum exhibits related to the Russian Imperial House illustrates the growing interest of the Chinese audience to the history and cultural heritage of Russia.
