The All-Russian Festival «Architectural Heritage» involving foreign participants is focused on preservation and rational use of architectural monuments, historical landscape and urban development. The theme of the 1st All-Russian Festival is the architectural heritage of the 1920s–1930s. This period in architecture, which is the most significant and momentous for the world culture, is characterized by such unique architectural and artistic phenomena as the Russian avant-garde, Stalinist empire style (Stalinist classicism), and Soviet modernism.

The program features international conferences, round tables, discussions, master classes, lectures, presentations, excursions, contests and exhibitions which illustrate the best design solutions along with building and restoration technologies. The contests will bring together architects, restorers, designers, art historians, builders, experts, university and college students, and authorities of the Russian Federation.
