Internet and Museums: The All-Russian Museum Internet action “Let’s remember the heroes of the Battle of Kursk” is mounted

On July 5, the day of the anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Kursk, a meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and celebration of the 75th anniversary of defeat of the Nazi troops by the Soviet army in the Battle of Kursk was held in the Museum of Victory. The meeting was chaired by Vladimir Medinsky, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Russian Military-Historical Society.

The participants discussed the all-Russian program of events. Monuments to the Soviet soldier-victor will be erected in Kursk and Oryol Regions, thematic «Train of Memory» will follow the route: Moscow — Belgorod — Prokhorovka — Kursk — Oryol, a military and historical festival and other celebrations are on the list of events marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk.

On the eve of the memorial date the All-Russian Museum Internet action «Let’s remember the heroes of the Battle of Kursk» was mounted. As a part of this action the participating museums began posting materials via social networks about the heroes of the battle.
