Society and Culture: The State Historical Museum and Sheremetyevo International Airport teamed up to launch a photo exhibition “The Style of Russian Masters”

On July 17, 2018 the State Historical Museum jointly with Sheremetyevo International Airport mounted the photo exhibition “The Style of Russian Masters”. The exposition is open in the art gallery between terminals D and E (second floor).

The photo exhibition showcases photographs showing halls and unique exhibits from the museum’s collections. Selected photos give a chance to discover the extraordinarily diverse style of Russian masters. On display are photographs of masterpieces of the museum’s collections: manuscripts and early printed books, precious metals, ceramics and glass, metal and synthetic fibers, fabric, wood and furniture. The Historical Museum currently houses over 5 million items — one twelfth of the State Museum Collections of the Russian Federation. Most complete and diverse, this colossal collection is unparalleled both in our country and worldwide.

The exhibition will be available to Sheremetyevo airport passengers and guests until August 17.
