Society and Book Culture: Exhibition “Russian alphabet book” to open in Moscow

The exhibition “Russian alphabet book” is opening on September 1, 2018 in the Gallery “Na Kashirke” (Moscow).

The project “Russian alphabet book” – is an attempt to create not a textbook but a book, in which a letter is illustrated by an image and is accompanied by a text, which in a metaphorical way and by means of images via the letter-symbol presents the thoughts about the time: the alphabet book as an artistic statement.

The result of the project – is an artistic folder with graphic sheets “RUSSIAN ALPHABET BOOK” (“RUSSKIY BUKVAR’”). The exhibition also displays relevant pieces of art, sculpture and installations.

The exhibition unites over thirty artists.
