Libraries and Society: 15th session of the International Library Philosophical School “Model of Modern Library: Advancing to the Future” is to be launched in Kaliningrad

The 15th session of the International Library Philosophical School “Model of Modern Library: Advancing to the Future” will run September 17-21, 2018 in Kaliningrad.

The International Library Philosophical School brings together renowned scientists: philosophers, culture experts, sociologists, librarians, bibliographers, information scientists, culture, education and science executives and experts.

The school’s academic seminar will spotlight the following issues: book culture and ins role in modern society; digitization; library transformation in the digital era; modern world concepts of library development; evolution of forms and methods of public library activities etc.
