International events: International summer school opened in Nalchik

The 3rd International summer school “Friendship between our peoples is rooted in our history” has opened in Kabardino-Balkarian State University in Nalchik. The event is held under the auspices of Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The summer school has brought together students and graduates from Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan, local schoolchildren, who study literature and gymnasium pupils from Donetsk. 

Organizers promise that the school’s program will be eventful and interesting, featuring lectures on literature and history, Russian language practical classes, discussions, an essay competition, a poetry event and an ethnographic festival. Guests from different countries will address the problem of interethnic tolerance.
