IT and Culture: Multimedia exhibition “Trust yourself!”. Stories from Leo Tolstoy’s life” underway in Kazan

The exhibition “Trust yourself!” opened on September 3, 2018 at the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve. This is an unusual multimedia exposition, or rather an outdoor library made up of 34 volumes. Each volume is a single absorbing story from the life of Leo Tolstoy in Kazan, which describes interesting facts of his biography,  his acquaintances in Kazan, the cultural and research life in Kazan. The exhibition is aimed at the wide public: citizens, guests of the city and visitors of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve. The dialogue between the epoch of Leo Tolstoy and a contemporary reader is reached by means of cutting-edge Internet technologies. The exhibition provides free access to unique photo, audio and video materials, which cast light on the life of the young count Leo Tolstoy, and the appearance of one of the most well-known noble families of the Russian state in Kazan Governorate – Tolstoy family.
