Marking The Year of the Volunteer 2018: Exhibition “Romantics. Searchers. Heroes” underway in Moscow

From September 6 until October 28, 2018 the Museum of Moscow is running the exhibition “Romantics. Searchers. Heroes”, timed to mark the Year of the Volunteer in the Russian Federation. It is dedicated to the youth of 20th century and highlights a momentous date in the history of Russian youth organizations – the centenary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol), which will be marked in October. The exhibition is the result of joint efforts of the Museum of Moscow, the Main Archival Directorate of Moscow and the Integration Cultural Center. “Romantics. Searchers. Heroes” exhibition gives a chance to study and think about the history, achievements and contemporary legacy of Komsomol and the contribution of its participants to the prosperity of Moscow and our country as a whole.
