Museums of Russia: Two exhibitions in commemoration of 205th anniversary of the foundation of Central Rail Transport Museum is opening in St. Petersburg

On September 26, 2018 one of the oldest scientific and technical museums in Russia and in the world – the Central Rail Transport Museum – is marking 205th anniversary of its foundation. The collection of the museum was started long before the appearance of railways. It was in 1813 that the first exhibits entered “the special hall”.
