History and Culture: International conference, dedicated to historian Sergey Sytin, currently underway in Ulyanovsk

On September 27, 2018 Simbirsk Classical Gymnasium Museum (Ulyanovsk) is launching the International Academic and Practical Conference “10th Sytin Readings” in commemoration of historian Sergey Sytin.

The central theme of the conference is “Problems of National and Regional History in the Context of Museum and Educational Practices of 19th–21st cc”, which has been chosen to highlight important anniversary dates in Ulyanovsk Region and Russia: the 370th anniversary of foundation of Simbirsk and the centenary of the archival service in Russia.
