History and Culture: The 3rd International Scientific Conference “Historical Arms and Armour in Museum and Private Collections” in Moscow

October 24–26, 2018 the Moscow Kremlin State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve (Moscow Kremlin Museums) is holding the 3rd International Scientific Conference “Historical Arms and Armour in Museum and Private Collections”. Participants of the conference will have an opportunity to exchange information about historical items and collections of arms and armour both museum and private, discuss problems of storage, exhibit and restoration etc. The conference will also feature a presentation of new publications of Moscow Kremlin Museums on historical weapon studies.

The event will bring together research staff members, private researchers and collectors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tula, Ivanovo, Veliky Novgorod, Zlatoust, Simferopol, and Stavropol. Specialists from Azerbaijan, Germany and Latvia will also attend the conference.
