World History: International Research and Practical Conference "The Great War of 1914-1918. Results and Lessons”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War in Tsarskoye Selo

October 26, 2018 the Museum-Reserve "Tsarskoye Selo" is hosting an international research and practical conference "The Great War of 1914-1918. Results and Lessons”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The conference will be opened with the ceremony of planting oak, which will become part of the international campaign "The Tree of Peace". A seedling is specially delivered from the Slovak nursery and planted in front of the main entrance to the Chamber of Commerce. "Trees of the world" in memory of the missing war heroes have already been planted in Austria and Slovakia.
