Museums of Russia: The Malakhov Kurgan memorial to open after restoration in Sevastopol

The Malakhov Kurgan memorial complex of monuments of the city defence during 1854-1855 and 1941-1944 will be solemnly opened in Sevastopol on November 6, 2018. The monuments will open to visitors after the restoration work, that was carried out with the support of the Russian Military and Historical Society.

The Malakhov Kurgan is a federal complex of monuments, which includes 22 monuments and memorial signs in commemoration of the Crimean War (1853-1856) and the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
