Memory of Russia: Exhibition about legendary parades of 1941 opened in the Museum of Victory in Moscow

A thematic exhibition “From the Parade off to the Front” opened in the Museum of Victory on November 7. The project is timed to coincide with the 77th anniversary of legendary parades of 1941.

Rare war-time photographs show the Kremlin and the Manege covered in camouflage canvases, evacuation of citizens of Moscow, the meeting of the Mossovet (Moscow City Soviet) at a metro station in Moscow, along with the parades, which were held in Moscow, Kuybyshev and Voronezh on November 7, 1941.

The exhibition will be open until January 9, 2019.
