History of Russia: “Masters of Rocketry” exhibition launched in Moscow

The exhibition “Masters of Rocketry” will run in the Museum of Cosmonautics (Moscow) from November 7, 2018 until March 10, 2019.

The exhibition casts light on the history of rocket building in our country from the 17th century to mid. 20th century, the time when the intercontinental ballistic missile R7 was produced. In a modified form it launched the first artificial satellite into orbit. In the spotlight are Russian and Soviet servicemen, scientists, construction engineers, whose ideas and hard work promoted rocket industry and as a result contributed to a breakthrough in space exploration.
