President of Russia: Vladimir Putin attended commemorative events in Paris marking 100 years since the end of World War I

The capital city of France has become a venue for commemorative events timed to coincide with the centenary of the end of World War I (November 11, 1918).

Vladimir Putin, who was in Paris to attend the commemorative events marking 100 years since the end of World War I, honoured Russian soldiers and officers by laying flowers at the Monument to Officers and Soldiers of the Russian Expeditionary Force Who Fought in France in World War I. Along with the Russian President, descendants of World War I participants also attended the ceremony.
