Exhibitions: Exposition “Unexpected Malevich. From the Archive of A. A. Leporskaya, Donated to the Russian Museum” launched in St. Petersburg

On November 15, 2018 the St Michael’s Castle (The State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg) staged the exhibition “Unexpected Malevich”, which unveils 117 drawings by Malevich, preserved in the archive of his student A. A. Leporskaya. These drawings have never gone on display before.

In 2017 the Russian Museum received a gift of 117 drawings by Malevich from R. Strimaitis in accordance with the will of N. Suetina, daughter of Nikolay Suetin and heir to Anna Leposkaya.

The exhibition is held under the auspices of the 7th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
