World History and Culture: “Ancient Greece. Mysteries of Tombs” exhibition currently underway in Tomsk

The Tomsk Regional Art Museum presents a new exhibition “Ancient Greece. Mysteries of Tombs”.

The exposition showcases a series of original etchings, published in mid. 19th century by the oldest International archaeological scientific center – The Institute of Archaeological Correspondence in Rome.

Exhibits shown in the etchings are housed in world’s major museums, such as the Louvre, the Vatican Museums, the State Hermitage Museum and the Prado Museum. However most of the described items have been lost since then.

The exhibition will be open until December 9, 2018.
