Society and Book Culture: Illustrations for 19th century works of literature by modern artists displayed in St. Petersburg

The exhibition “The Treasury of Russia: Russian Classical Literature” has been launched in The Peter and Paul Fortress Commandant’s House (St. Petersburg).  The exhibition showcases drawings from the collection of “Vita Nova” publishing house: over 150 illustrations for the 19th century works of literature made by famous modern artists.
