World History: International Scientific Conference “Military Traditions in the Archaeological Context” underway in Tula Region

The International Scientific Conference “Military Traditions in the Archaeological Context: From late Latène period to late Middle Ages” will be held from November 29 through December 2, 2018 at the Kulikovo Field Museum-Reserve (Tula Region).

The conference will bring together about 50 leading experts in the field of weapon studies from Russia and Europe. The Kulikovo Field Museum-Reserve has been regularly holding such conferences, but the current scientific forum is large-scale. Russian researchers are representing leading research centers of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Penza, Krasnodar, Orenburg, Novgorod, Surgut, Rostov-on-Don. Invited speakers will arrive from Great Britain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania and Poland.
