History of Russia: Exhibition “The Russian Ball” of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg travels to Veliky Novgorod

The Museum of Fine Arts, part of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, is presenting “The Russian Ball” – a travelling exhibition from the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg.

Visitors will have a chance to see around 80 digitized historical photographs showing two fancy-dress court balls in a so-called “Russian style”, which took place in St. Petersburg in 1883 and in 1903.

The exhibition will be open until December 28.
