History and Culture: “Timeless Treasure” exhibition in the Museum of Russian Icons in Moscow showcases church relics

The Museum of Russian Icons (Moscow) is staging the exhibition “Timeless Treasure. Church Relics from the Collection of Anna Vasilyevna Marayeva”. The exhibition is co-organized by the Serpukhov History and Art Museum with support of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church and the Grabar All-Russian Research and Restoration Center.

There are over 100 exhibits on display, including icons, manuscripts, drawings, which portray spiritual guides of Old Believers, Anna Marayeva’s personal items, to name just a few. The exhibition will be open until March 1, 2019.
