Memorial dates of Russia: Pushkin State Russian Language Institute presents the exhibition “Turgenev: French Life of the Russian Novel” marking the bicentenary of the writer’s birth

On December 3, 2018 the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (Moscow) is presenting the exhibition “Turgenev: French Life of the Russian Novel”, which marks the bicentenary of the birth of Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev. The exhibition is organized with the assistance of “History of the Fatherland” Foundation. It showcases letters, books, photographs, etchings and portraits, Russian and French newspapers and bills, and multimedia, including interactive tests on Turgenev’s oeuvre.
