Memorial dates of Russia: Exhibition marking the 145th anniversary of the birth of Valery Bryusov mounted in the Russian State Library in Moscow

The Manuscripts Department of the Russian State Library (Moscow) has staged the exhibition, marking the 145th anniversary of the birth of Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov (1873—1924), a brilliant symbolist poet, playwright and translator. The RSL’s Manuscripts Department houses a large collection of Valery Ya. Bryusov’s works – more than 7.500 documents: manuscripts, translated works, reviews of works written by contemporaries, poet’s epistolary legacy, and books from the private library.
