The Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: The All-Russia Theatre Marathon to be launched in January in Vladivostok

The All-Russia Theatre Marathon will kick off on January 18, 2019 in Vladivostok. It will run throughout the year 2019 and cover all 85 regions of Russia. It will be inaugurated at the Primorsky stage of the Mariinsky Theatre.

After the start in Vladivostok the Primorsky Drama Theatre will travel to Khabarovsk, while the Khabarovsk Musical Theatre will set off to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. All regional Russian theatres will continue the tour relay by participating in it one by one so as to reach Kaliningrad - the westernmost part of the country at the end of the year.
