Museums of Russia abroad: Exhibition “From the Imperial Wardrobe” from the collections of Tsarskoe Selo Museum-Reserve staged in Belarus

The exhibition “From the Imperial Wardrobe”, dedicated to the centenary of the end of World War I, is presented at the Mir Castle Complex in Belarus, not far from Minsk. It showcases uniforms from the collections of Tsarskoe Selo Museum-Reserve.

Visitors will have an opportunity to see uniforms of some Russian Imperial Army regiments, including the privileged Life Guards, which belonged to Emperor Nicholas II of Russia and his son Tsarevich Alexey.

There are 39 objects on 10 mannequins – uniforms of World War I - from the Men’s Clothing collection on loan from Tsarskoe Selo Museum Reserve. All these items are of historical, cultural and memorial value.

The exhibition will be on until February 28, 2019.
