History and Culture: Exhibition “Russian History on a Theatre Stage” presented in Vladimir

The St. Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music presents the exhibition “Russian History on a Theatre Stage” in Vladimir. The exhibition will be open until March 10, 2019.

It showcases more than 70 exhibits on loan from the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music. The events in the history of Russia from the late 10th century through 1917 are in the spotlight of the exhibition.

On display are original sketches of costumes and scenery, made by scenic painters of the second half of the 19th century, including renowned artists such as K. S. Petrov-Vodkin, K. A. Korovin, A. N. Benois.
