Museums of Russia: Russian Painting Collection to go on display in the Museum of the History of Religion

In January 2019 visitors to the Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg) will have an opportunity to discover the wonderful collection of Russian paintings.

The collection includes works of religions and secular Russian oil painting of the 18th – 21st cc. It consists of more than 250 paintings, which were created by masters of various schools, trends and traditions.

Paintings of this collection are permanent exhibits of temporary displays both in the Museum of the History of Religion and in other museums.
