Libraries of Russia: Conference marking 205 years since the opening of the Imperial Public Library underway in St. Petersburg

A conference marking 205 years since the Opening Day of the Imperial Public Library will take place on January 14, 2019 in the Main Building of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg).

This year the conference “900 Days and Nights” will be held ahead of the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the siege. Reports and presentations will spotlight the selfless devotion to work of librarians during the Great Patriotic War.
