History and Culture: The Russian State Library in Moscow presents “My Precious” exhibition in commemoration of St. Seraphim of Sarov

21 January 2019

The Russian State Library (Moscow) presents the exhibition “My Precious”. The display in the Rumyantsev Hall of the Manuscripts Department is dedicated to St. Seraphim of Sarov (1754/59—1833), one of the most revered saints in Rus’, the patron of Diveyevo Convent. The exhibition will be open until February 24, 2019.

The choice of the name for the display was not accidental. "My precious! Christ is Risen!”- that was the way St. Seraphim of Sarov welcomed  anyone, who turned to him for advice or help.
