Society and Culture: International Contest “#PushkinLike: Let’s Read Pushkin in Languages of the World” welcomes entries
The Vladimir Lenin Ulyanovsk Regional Research Library has launched the International Contest “#PushkinLike: Let’s Read Pushkin in Languages of the World”, which is mounted ahead of the 220th anniversary of the birth of the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
As part of the contest participants need to recite Alexander Pushkin’s works (or extracts) and share video recordings with hashtag #PushkinLike via social networks. There is only one requirement – participants need to recite poems in front of historical and cultural sights of cities and countries. The contest welcomes videos of Pushkin’s sites, literary museums and monuments to Alexander Pushkin.
Winners will be announced in September 2019 as part of the celebration of Alexander Pushkin’s 220th anniversary of the birth in Ulyanovsk.
