Memory of Russia: “Courage of the Great City” exhibition staged in St. Petersburg

The Museum of Urban Sculpture in St. Petersburg presents the exhibition “Courage of the Great City”, which is timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi Siege.

Most of the picture postcards on display were published in Leningrad during or shortly after the Siege. They show monuments, that were braced with planks and supports during the war. The exhibition will be open until February 27, 2019.
