On February 6, 2019 the ROSPHOTO State Museum and Exhibition Center (St. Petersburg) is staging a new exhibition “I Close My Eyes and Listen to Istanbul...”. Constantinople photos from the 2nd half of the 19th century”.
Photographs are from the collection of Pavel and Anastasiya Khoroshilov. The exhibition, first held at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow in 2016, showcases a collection of Constantinople photos from the 2nd half of the 19th century. The surviving photos give an opportunity to discover the photographic history of Istanbul, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
