A new exhibition “Nicholas I” will be staged on February 13, 2019 in St. Michael’s Castle (The State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg).
The sixth exhibition from the cycle “The Romanovs Family Saga” casts light on the personality and state affairs of Emperor Nicholas I, his foreign policy, the role of the Emperor in the development of national culture; the life of the society, the imperial court and the royal family, as reflected in the works of painting, graphics, numismatics and decorative and applied arts.
