The Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum has staged a historical and documentary exhibition “Creators of Atomic Age. Names. Events. Discoveries. The Radium Institute”. This is a joint project involving the museum, Rosatom and the Khlopin Radium Institute.

The exposition is dedicated to scientific discoveries and achievements in the fundamental science and is based on the materials of one of the oldest scientific radiological institutions of our country – the Radium Institute, which was founded in 1922 by Academician Vladimir Vernadsky. The institute united all radiological institutions of Petrograd.
