26 March 2019

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) presents an exhibition “The Collection of Antiquities of Karisalov Family”, which showcases an extensive collection of ancient art amassed by the patrons of the arts Mikhail and Yelena Karisalovs. There are about 90 items on display: painted ancient Greek vases, helmets, bronze rings, two portrait sculptures. The earliest exhibit dates from the sixth century BC, while the latest ones date back to the first centuries AD. The Karisalov family is going to donate the collection of antiquities to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
