Memory of Russia: Exhibition “Designer of the Legendary Rifle. Marking the 170th Anniversary of S. I. Mosin’s Birth” underway in St. Petersburg

On March 29, 2019 the Military and Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps (St. Petersburg) is mounting the exhibition “Designer of the Legendary Rifle. Marking the 170th Anniversary of S. I. Mosin’s Birth”. Sergei Ivanovich Mosin (1849–1902) was the main contributor to the design of the 3-line rifle in Russia. These rifles with modifications were produced at weapons facilities in the Russian Empire, the RSFSR, the USSR, France, the USA, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Hungary and China.
