World Culture: Center opens in Cuba to preserve Hemingway’s legacy

The Cuban National Cultural Heritage Council and Finca Vigia Foundation of the United States have opened a restoration center on the outskirts of Havana to preserve the works and documents of Ernest Hemingway.

The restoration center located near the museum of the Nobel laureate includes several laboratories and vaults. Ernest Hemingway wrote his famous novels For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea during the 21 years he lived in Cuba.
