Internet and History: Archival materials about Yuri Levitan now available on the portal of the Moscow Electronic School

Archival materials, which shed light on some stages of life and career of Yuri Levitan – ‘the voice of the epoch’ - are now available on the portal of the Moscow Electronic School.

Yuri Levitan reported on the heroism of Chelyuskintsy (crew members of Chelyuskin steamship), world records of Soviet pilots, and achievements of Stakhanovites. During the war he read the reports from the Soviet Information Bureau, the whole country in the front line, in partisan detachments, and in the rear waited for. For more than 40 years he had participated in all radio broadcasts of parades in Red Square.
