History and Culture: Exhibition marking 420th anniversary of the Dormition of Mother of God Church in Nikulino village, Tikhvinsky District, Novgorod Governorate to kick off in Veliky Novgorod

On April 5, 2019 the Novgorod Museum Reserve, Main Building, is presenting the exhibition “The 420th Anniversary of the Dormition of Mother of God Church in Nikulino Village, Tikhvinsky District, Novgorod Governorate”.

On display are icons, church objects, drawings made by Leonid Krasnorechyev, documents and photo materials, which show the views and interior of the church in the early 20th c., dismantlement, transportation and restoration of the church, and restoration of icons. The exhibition will be open until June 10.
