International events: Russia-Turkey Cross Year of Culture and Tourism launched in Moscow

On April 8, 2019 Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky and Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Ersoy launched the Cross Year of Culture and Tourism of Russia and Turkey. 

The ceremony took place at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia.

The programme of Russia-Turkey Cross Year of Culture and Tourism includes dozens of events: concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, and circus shows. In December the finale of the Year will be held in Istanbul, where exhibits from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery will go on display.
