History and Culture: Andrei Rublev Museum in Moscow presents “The Gospel by Hieronymus Natalis” exhibition

On April 16, 2019 the Andrei Rublev Central Museum of Ancient Russian Culture and Art (Moscow) presented the exhibition “The Gospel by Hieronymus Natalis. First Edition”. The exposition showcases a book, which was printed in Antwerp in 1593.

The first edition of the Gospel by Hieronymus Natalis of 1593 from the museum’s collection is an excellent example of the art of engraving. Best Flemish masters created illustrations for the book. The exhibition will be open through May 19.
