Society and Culture: Alexei Tolstoy Apartment Museum in Moscow presents the exhibition “Carried Away by Memories and Rhymes...”

16 April 2019

The exhibition “Carried Away by Memories and Rhymes…” will kick off on April 16, 2019 in the Alexei Tolstoy Apartment Museum in Moscow.

The photo exhibition spotlights the years that Alexei Tolstoy spent in Detskoye Selo (known as Tsarskoye Selo prior to 1918, now the town of Pushkin) and the writer’s circle of acquaintances during that period.

Alexei Tolstoy spent ten years in Detskoye Selo before he moved to Moscow in 1938. Those years were not devoted just to literary work. Alexei Tolstoy took an active part in the public life of the city.
