Memory of Russia: Exhibition in St. Petersburg marks the 85th anniversary of establishment of the title Hero of the Soviet Union

The Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps (St. Petersburg) is mounting the exhibition “Heroes of the Fatherland”, which marks the 85th anniversary of establishment of the title Hero of the Soviet Union. The title was awarded personally and collectively for heroic feats both during the war and in peacetime. The exhibition features over 50 photographs from the museum’s own collection. It will be open until May 31, 2019.
