History and Culture: 2nd Scientific Conference “History of National Culture in Archival Documents” to open in St. Petersburg

The 2nd Scientific Conference “History of National Culture in Archival Documents” will open on April 24, 2019 in the Main Building of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg).

The conference will focus on the study of manuscript heritage of celebrated Russian scientists and cultural workers, including representatives of the clergy, high-ranking government officials, consuls, merchants, publishers, historians, composers, writers, artists, and architects.

Speakers at the conference are researchers from the National Library of Russia, the State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg State University, the Institute of Russian Literature (The Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian State Naval Archive, the Russian National Museum of Music and others.
