Internet and History: Millions of photographs of war participants to enter The Road of Memory online project of the Ministry of Defence of Russia

The website of the Ministry of Defence of Russia now features The Road of Memory section, which is intended to perpetuate the memory of the Great Patriotic War participants.

The grandiose project launched by the Central Armed Forces Museum of Russia will unite millions of photographs of front-line soldiers and workers at defence enterprises, partisans and residents of besieged Leningrad, cultural professionals and war correspondents, all those who fought and worked selflessly during the years of fire of the Great Patriotic War and defended their homeland from Nazi invaders.
